I hope you all had a Happy National Sibling Day. My sisters and I got to see each other and take a walk together this afternoon.
In honor of the holiday, let’s take a look at some of Disney’s siblings:
The ones who started it all: Walt and Roy Disney
Roy wasn’t Walt’s only sibling, but they were close in the family and, of course, as business partners.
Robin Hood Rabbits
I’m not sure what could be cuter than these bunnies. All I can think is, “Momma, Momma, wait for me.”
John, Wendy, and Michael Darling from Peter Pan
Siblings who play together, stay together, and these kids were there for each other, even when Pirates got involved.
Alice in Wonderland
Siblings with a big age difference
The Lion King’s Scar and Mufasa
Polar opposites
Huey, Dewey, and Louie
These three would be a handful!
Toy Story’s Andy and Molly
Realistic siblings. They have their sweet moments and their unhappy moments. Mom even catches them on camera.
Lilo and Nani
A sister relationship brought to another level
The Incredibles: Violet, Dashiell, and Jack Jack Parr
Each is unique, but they make a great team.
Merida, Harris, Hubert, and Hamish
That’s a lot of red hair and mischief in one castle.
Anna and Elsa
Once-close sisters are reunited again.
I love that one of the first things they agree on is chocolate.
Mary Poppins’ Jane and Michael Banks
Quite a team, especially when writing advertisements
Good Luck Charlie’s siblings: PJ, Teddy, Gabe, Charlie, and Toby
I just love these guys.
The Three Little Pigs
Some are smarter than the others.
Ariel, Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista, Andrina from The Little Mermaid
I’m pretty sure I couldn’t come up with that many A names.
Mowgli and the Wolf Cubs in The Jungle Book
A Non-Traditional Family
Who are your favorite Disney siblings? What is your favorite Disney memory with a sibling of yours? How many siblings do you have? Leave a comment!
Fun article to read! I think my favorites from this list are actually Merida and her brothers and then Jane and Michael Banks. Both of those sets of siblings get along well and they’re fun to watch together.
I can’t think of a favorite Disney memory with a sibling. There have been so many memories!
