I can’t believe that it’s Wednesday again already, but that means we get to join Focused on the Magic’s Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop today! This week’s theme is Disney Side.
My Disney Side is probably best captured through anxious giggles and gasps and my childlike excitement at Disney World, but, these pictures from Extra Magic Hours at the Magic Kingdom show it pretty well too. It was around 1 AM when these were taken and we were all at our silliest.
Here is my family’s forget-about-everything-and-just-have-fun and stay-until-past-close Disney Side!
- At 1 AM, we raced straight through the Pirates of the Caribbean line and boarded our own boat. We were so excited to have the whole place to ourselves that we took a (gasp!) flash photo selfie!
- My sister snapped this pic behind her back of my husband and I singing “A Whole New World” on The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, while holding our sleeping kids. We couldn’t decide if we were great parents for having our kids at Disney World or bad ones for carting them around so we could keep having fun!
Here are a few glimpses of our Disney Side when we weren’t quite so tired.
- Loving Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!
- Bringing along some cuties who weren’t able to be at Disney World
- Our son came out of his shell and started break dancing at the character dance parties!
There’s nothing quite like being able to live out your Disney Side at the Parks!

Oh my gosh I think it’s awesome that you carried them on rides while they were sleeping! That’s a true #DisneySide moment!
Haha! Thank you! They’d perk up every now and then, but they definitely rode several rides without knowing it! Each night, I’d video tape the kids telling us what their favorite parts of the day were. That night, I videoed them asleep in front of the castle. 😉
Great Disney Side shots!! I love staying after hours and thankfully my kids are all old enough to enjoy it as well. I love that picture of the sleeping babes while you are singing and riding rides. What fun!!
The park is so fun during Extra Magic Hours, isn’t it? Thankfully, our kids are young enough to sleep through almost anything. 🙂 I’m glad you and your kids are able to enjoy the late hours together! It’s so much fun!
